Stainless steel pocket clip

The QuickFire is an assisted-opening knife with ASAP Technology®. The QuickFire has an advance design with dual springs to provide an easy and safe blade release. The "quick-firing" blade has a convenient one-hand ambidextrous deployment. The strong mid-lock design and rotating blade safety provide a durable locking strength in the open or closed blade position. Equipped with a reliable 420HC blade steel and stylish steel reinforced handles, this knife is dependable and contemporary in design. Made in the USA. Buck's ASAP assisted opening knives are functionally different than automatic/switchblade knives. Switchblade knives use a button/lever in the handle to release the blade and the blade cannot be moved at all without entirely opening the knife. As with many things, knife laws change and vary from location to location. It is the user's responsibility to comply with all regulations. For more information visit www.AKTI.org. Length 4 1/4" closed. Made in the USA. This knife is prohibited under the Criminal Code of Canada, Part 3 Firearms and other Weapons, Section 84 and cannot be shipped into Canada. Available Features and Options

One Handed Opening

Has a thumb stud, blade hole or other feature to facilitate one-hand use. Some models are one-hand opening and one-hand closing as well..

420HC Steel

This is Buck's standard blade material because it approaches the wear resistance of high carbon alloys while delivering the corrosion resistance of chromium stainless steels. Add our exclusive heat-treat process and you have a very user-friendly combination of superior corrosion resistance with excellent strength for wear resistance and durability. You also have a blade that is easy to resharpen. For best performance we harden to a Rockwell hardness of Rc 58.

Drop Point

This blade is full bellied with a strong, thick point for heavier tasks. It can also be used as a general work knife. The top of the blade drops down toward the tip, which minimizes accidental puncturing while skinning. The drop point blade is strong and very versatile.

Found this beauty on one of our ambulances. A bit heavy, but very sturdy and has been through lots of abuse, including being run over by said ambulance and through the washing machine. Blade is still sharp as ever and has not rusted through the rain, sleet, and snow that I've dropped it in. No one ever came forward to claim it and now I'm not giving it back!

First Buck, won't be my last

I love this knife. It's in my pocket every day and gets used a lot. My next Buck will be either a 112 or Woodsman

Best knife I have ever owned.

I have bought a lot of Buck knives but this is by far the best one for my old hands to open.

My complements to the "senior partner"! when I read your story about your senior partner I knew Buck was the right choice. This little quickfire has kept me smiling ever since I bought it. I keep playing with the thing cause it makes me feel like a little boy again! I been here 65 years and still love that feeling! Sure glad I passed on the griptilian.

Finally pulled the trigger on this knife and glad I did. I love it fires fast easy to open and close one hand and feels great in the hand. I love the Buck family. Only wish they would make it a 3in blade and would be perfect.

Great Knife and service

I use this knife all the time. I'm in the Army Reserve, a police officer, live on a farm, hunt fish and do a lot of outdoor activities. I use this knife on a daily basis through a variety of task. the blade has yet to get loose, the handles stay tight and it keeps an edge very well. The spring did break on me during some military training. However I sent the knife back to Buck and a month later it was returned good as new, with a newly sharpened blade and a 25% off my next Buck knife purchase. How's that for service? Made in the greatest country on earth with quality material and craftsmanship and backed by great service. What else could you ask for? I've had Buck knives since I started hunting when I was little and will keep on carrying a Buck knife.

Great knife, mysteriously broke

I absolutely love my quickfire! I bought this beauty for just under fifty dollars last winter and it has served me well. Today though,I was at work and I felt my pocket shift, and I very carefully felt inside to realize that my knife had come open with the safety on! I'm not sure what part of the knife malfunctioned but now the locking mechanism is all messed up. This is why I love buck knives though, because all I have to do is mail it in and bucks forever warranty will cover repair! So I'm mailing it certified mail Monday and we will see how long it takes to come back to me.

FANTASTIC! Great for older or arthritic hands.

Love this assisted opening knife as fingers aren't as strong and nimble as they use to be. :-) I have big hands and this one feels really good in the hand, too many knives are too skinny for my liking. This one feels sturdy. Extremely sharp out of the box to boot!

Great Every Day Knife!

I bought this recently to carry as an everyday knife and because I was curious concerning the "ASAP" technology. Terrific in every sense. The blade opens up and locks smoothly for use, then the closure is every bit as easy as any other Buck knife. The lock ensures that accidents won't happen while carrying it. This is an excellent knife in every sense of the word, as are all Buck knives but this one is unique for everyday use and for general purposes. The handle design is comfortable and they even thought to put in a provision for a lanyard, if so desired. Great knife!

The Buck Quickfire

Have several knives in both categories; Slip Joint and Assisted Opening. On a scale of 1-10 the Quickfire is at #9. Would be 11 if it were the SAME knife but slimmer and lighter and a little longer He BUCK, are you listening.

I bought this knife cause I like the way it looked. Plus the locking mechanism was unique. I am so impressed with it that I bought my youngest son one for graduation. It is his first knife. He carries it everywhere and loves it.

Phenomenal EDC!

This is a great EDC, I just bought this knife and fell in love. I like the fact it's a bit larger than my Rush, and I like the traditional lock back design better than the liner lock as well as the locking mechanism for accidental blade deployment. the design reminds me of my Griptillian- and i would take this knife any day of the week over that one. I really love the fact that you can lock the blade in against any type of accidental opening. If you do not have one yet- do yourself a favor and pick one up! Oh, and the plastic handle is great for different temperatures and will not fade!

Love it!

I love Buck Knives. This is one of many that I have bought. I just.picked it up at Cabela's today, I love the standard Buck style locking of this knife. I would honestly put the design up against my Benchmade Griptilian. In fact I think this is a more solid knife. It has phenomenal features. I would highly recommend this knife!

This is an excellent knife. It's an everyday carry knife for me. I removed the pocket clip and share the case with my Alpha Dorado. The quickfife fits the case perfectly. Buck is the best. I had a Buck 110 Folding Hunter for 18 years but it was stolen last October. Big bummer. I loved that knife. I am now a disabled veteran and live on a small disability pension and my lack of funds has hindered its replacement. I will eventually replace it.

Quickfire must have

Well let me start by saying that I am passionate about stag handle folders and bowie knives. Buck please run more 192 and 191 models in stag without any cut outs or print on the blades!!!! The EDC for me could easily be a 110 folder but then I decided to try a Quickfire. I can find them retail for under $40. I like it so much I am stocking up for a lifetime supply. The blade is super sharp, super tough, has held an edge without waiver. The handle took a bit to fall in love with but believe me with time you will. The opening assist is simply perfect, love the safety and the especially the lock blade style lock. I did bend my clip by catching it on something but I didn't bother to remove it I just drop this EDC down into my pocket and forget it. This maybe the most underrated values in the entire line up. A must have if you are a buck fan, and if you are I suggest you buy at least two just in case they don't keep it around long enough.
