Why is Buck Knives instituting a Dealer Authorization Program?
Buck Knives has been making high-quality knives and accessories for over 100 years and has developed exceptional brand recognition and awareness in the market. Customers need to be able to trust, wherever they purchase our products, that they are receiving genuine Buck Knives products backed by our support and Forever Warranty. Our resellers make a substantial investment to train their employees, maintain inventory, and provide the desired Buck Knives purchasing experience for their customers. It is our responsibility to maintain the image of the Buck Knives brand and the integrity of our sell-through network. Our Authorized Dealer Program provides numerous benefits to our dealers and allows us to provide superior service. The end result is that customers have a better experience buying through an authorized dealer.
Why should I become a Buck Knives Authorized Dealer?
Once approved, you will receive an Authorized Dealer Certificate and first-line support from our Field Representatives and our Inside Sales team. Authorized resellers qualify for in-store POP and merchandising support, seasonal promotions, and new product allocations. In addition, we will list your store(s) in our dealer locator on our website and provide access to our dealer portal for order entry and marketing content.
What is the process for becoming an Authorized Dealer?

What if we are already a Buck Knives dealer, do we need to do anything to become an official Authorized Dealer?
Yes, please get in contact with your Field Representative or Inside Sales representative at Buck Knives. Providing you meet the criteria, we can quickly help qualify you to be recognized as an Authorized Dealer.
Can we sell Buck Knives products anywhere?
The Buck Knives Dealer Agreement authorizes dealers to sell Buck Knives products only to end-users in the United States.
Dealers are prohibited from selling, distributing, consigning, or otherwise providing product to any individual or account that intends to resell Buck Knives products. The Agreement stipulates you cannot sell in bulk to B2B accounts, wholesalers, freight forwarders/drop shippers, or other retailers unless confirmed in writing by a Buck Knives Executive (under strict penalty of account termination).
Dealers are prohibited from fulfilling product through any third-party website(s) or platform(s) including but not limited to: Amazon, eBay, Walmart.com, Jet.com Craigslist, and Facebook (Buck Knives reserves the right to prohibit and/or remove listings from these sites if in our sole discretion it is believed that terms, conditions, or actions have been violated).
Dealers are prohibited to sell outside the United States unless a written request is approved in writing and signed by a Buck Knives Executive. This includes not distributing, consigning, or providing product to any individual or account inside the United States that knowingly intends to sell or re-distribute Buck Knives products.
Does Buck Knives have a Minimum Advertised Pricing (MAP) policy?
Yes, we believe in maintaining the strength and integrity of our brand. Our unilateral MAP policy ensures authorized dealers have a fair and equal selling opportunity to achieve a healthy business with Buck Knives. Please review the Buck Knives MAP Policy. Our retail price list shows MAP pricing. Buck Knives strictly enforces MAP and reserves the right to terminate any account violating MAP.
