Available Features and Options

S30V Steel

We consider this the absolute best blade steel available, and it is made in America. S30V contains carbon as well as high amounts of Chromium, Molybdenum and Vanadium. This steel combines fantastic edge retention and high ductility combined with corrosion resistance. Double-tempered - it can be hardened to a Rockwell hardness of Rc 59.5-61. However, it is difficult to resharpen yourself, but we do offer sharpening services for a nominal fee.

420HC Steel

This is Buck's standard blade material because it approaches the wear resistance of high carbon alloys while delivering the corrosion resistance of chromium stainless steels. Add our exclusive heat-treat process and you have a very user-friendly combination of superior corrosion resistance with excellent strength for wear resistance and durability. You also have a blade that is easy to resharpen. For best performance we harden to a Rockwell hardness of Rc 58.

Custom 110

My wife had a 110 built for me as a Christmas gift from her and the kids. It has nickel bolster with walnut slabs and an S30V blade. It is a beautiful knife but under the right light you can see where the engraving that was supposed to be on the bolster was started on the blade. It was then ground off and engraved over with the correct encryption.

I went all the way. The hard steel. Everything else nickel, bolsters, rivets, finger grooves on stag handle. This a heirloom to pass to one of my boys, to grandson, and on. I have no regrets. Wish they still had elk horn for the 1 I'm ordering now. A real show piece. Everyone who sees it wants one. No doubt it will grow in value. I wanted one of the custom copper Buck made bust missed out. They are ledgendary.

ONE OF A KIND

I HAD THIS KNIFE MADE JUST FOR ME. TO MY SPECS. I GOT THE BUCK 110 THE S30V BLADE ,BLACK G10 HANDLE ,NICKLE BOLSTERS AND RIVETS. IT IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL HIGH QUALITY KNIFE I HAVE SEEN. I'M SORRY I DIDN'T GET THE BLADE INGRAVED. I OWN MANY BUCKS ,THE STANDARD CHERRYWOOD HANDLE. BUT THIS ONE TAKES THE CAKE. IT IS A WORK 0F ART. AND THE REMAINING COMPLIMENT ,THERE WAS A TICKET WITH THE KNIFE THAT PERSONALLY NAMED THE CRAFTSMAN THAT BUILT IT. I LIKE THAT. BECAUSE HE HAS SOMETHING TO BE PROUD OF ,HOW THIS KNIFE TURNED OUT. Gift of a lifetime

Just received my wife's gift of a custom 110. This has been a lifetime desire of mine to own a 110, but the WalMart cheapo's just didn't cut it. Elk handle, nickel bolsters, finger grooves, and S30V blade. Received 5 weeks from order date, surprisingly fast! Also, the engraving looks great... much better than in the builder application. Overall, I'm simply amazed at the craftsmanship! Hats off to the craftsman who put this together. Fit and finish are all flawless, lock-up incredibly tight without any blade wobble. Perfect heft for a large handed man. Especially with the finger grooves, it nestles into my hand like no other knife has. Can't beat the forever warranty of a true American institution of a company. Thank you, Buck. I'll carry this knife daily, put it through the rigors of hunting, backpacking, and camping for years. Once it has become a well worn blade, will proudly pass off to my son. I can rest assured knowing it'll still be in fine working condition when that day comes.

Ready to order a custom knife, but wanted to pass this along..

Some years ago I had one of the standard Buck folders, possibly the 110 model. I broke the blade and emailed Buck with this message: "I was stupidly using my knife as a pry bar and broke the blade. What will it cost to get it replaced?" (Using the blade as a pry bar voids the warranty, it says so right in the warranty information) The reply I got stated, "Send the knife and we will repair it no charge." Instant customer for life. My son will love his custom 110.. Thank you Buck for your amazing customer service...

Great 110 Knife - Worth the Money.

When I was in the army,1970 - 1973 I had a clip point 110 folding hunter. About 20 years latter, it was stolen out of my car. This time I purchased a drop point with finger grooves, nickle bolsters, rivets, and black G10 handles. The sheath is black cordura. It is a real pretty knife; black and silver. Originally, I wanted a drop point with black oxide blade, but Buck doesn't offer black oxide in a drop point. To bad. I recommend this lock blade to anyone who is looking to carry a good sturdy knife which is practical, and not going to freak out everyone by carrying a straight blade knife. Thanks Buck!

Why buy something else?

I've had my buck 110 knife for about 8 years now. I bought it visiting family in Nebraska at a little mom and pop hardware store the 1st year my daughter was born. As she gets older I will give it to her. I post pictures of it on my social media whenever I use it for something that has to do with work or whatever. Today the tip finally snapped at least a quarter inch off and I'm really crossing my fingers I can send this in and get the blade replaced or something without much of a cost. I actually plan on ordering a custom knife as well because now I have 3 kids and each one of them are going to need one someday. I will keep it a family trait that's how much I love these knives. I love the brass and the wood the whole stability of it the design it's just all around one good solid knife

NOT AS PICTURED

I ordered the Buck Customized 110 Folding Hunter Knife. -420HC Black Oxide, Serrated Blade -Black G10 Handle -Nickel Bolster & Rivets Be mindful that what you are looking at when you order is a digital picture, not an actual photograph of a knife. The digital picture (of my knife) shows mirror-finish nickel Bolsters on the front and back, but under light they have a brushed/streaked finish. The picture showed a Black G10 Handle that's consistently glossy throughout...the knife I received has glossy and dull areas, the glossy areas appear as high relief (texture), whereas the dull areas of the handle 'appear' worn. The 420HC Black Oxide, Serrated Blade is almost perfect, but has a couple of small light spots. All-in-all, despite what I got instead of what I thought I was getting, I'm not completely disatisfied. It's still a nice knife. Knowing what I know now, I probably would have still bought a Buck Customized 110, but I would have made different choices.

Exceeded Expectations

I ordered a 110 with S30V , brass bolsters, Rivets and finger grooves ,Elk , Engraved blade and bolsters ,all for my dad's 75th birthday. It far far exceeded my expectations. The fit of the Elk to the bolsters and finger grooves was very smooth. Rivets in the bolsters you had to look for them . The blade nice even satin finish , the engraving perfect. My dad has ooo'd and ahhh'd over it , has shown it off multiple times . Thank you Dana for the obvious pride you take in a job well done . Thank you Buck Knives. Best longest lasting

I bought my 110 folding hunter over 43 years ago and it still is going strong. I sent it back about 3 years ago to replace a couple of rivets which came loose, and to my amazement, Buck replaced the entire blade because of unseen wear and tear free of charge. Great knife, great warranty, great enjoyment! Can't beat it

Long ago and far away....

I was Army Special Forces officer and snapped the blade off on my 110 during some very rugged ops. That knife was built to work and I abused it accordingly. I sent it back to Buck with an apology letter about using it beyond design specs and said that since I was not where I could buy one, to send me a replacement --in a hurry--and I would pay for it. I received a free replacement a month later, which was very fast given where we were. I have a dozen of these knives stashed in various convenient locations. I also have a collection of customized versions of the 110 on a special made display rack at my hunting lodge, which always draws a lot of attention. While there are many new tactical knives that work great and are lighter, the weight of this knife on my hip is comforting in a way, sort of like a 1911A1 in a leather flap holster. Old school? Yes. Outmoded? No

Fantastic Knife

I've owned Buck knives since the mid 1960s. I still have a 110 I bought in the early 1970s to replace one I had in the military and give to a friend. Now I seem to have a bunch of them, some customized by 3rd party artists. I just received the first knife I ordered (of 4) from Buck's custom shop and it has exceeded my expectations. This one had Ramshorn scales and a S30V blade and is simply beautiful. I can hardly wait to show it off!

Glad to see that the Custom Shop is open again!

I haven't ordered my custom knife yet but wanted to share that I bought my first Buck 110 in 1974 upon joining the Army. Twice the blade snapped over the years and twice I sent it back to Buck and they replaced it for FREE, no questions asked. I also ordered two 110 Customs when the plant was still in CA. Don't know how long Buck has been offering the custom options since moving to Idaho but so glad they have offered it again! Order a custom knife, you will not be disappointed!

So, I've had my 110 for a little less than a year now, and it is by no means a "new" knife. It was my friend's dad's knife, but after he left my friend gave it to me. It's one of the Monroe editions from between '81 and '86 and it's still in great condition! I love my 110!

Buck Knives

All my life i was told Buck makes the best knives. Everyday of my life i can remember my dad carried an old buck work. Carrried for more than 20 years so far and uses it only to eat with. Well you know like father like son. I bought a 301 Stockman, while slightly bigger its perfect for me. I love it. Along with that i ordered a new Buck Ops Boot Knife and ive been highly impressed with it as well, especially with how the sheath holds up being in my boot all day everyday. Then i placed my order for my 124 frontiersman and my custom 110. when the frontiersman got to me i was super impressed that a knife that big came out of the box shaving hair off my arms. Its great for cutting food too. Then the 110 got here. i was so excited for it. i had waited weeks and put out a good amount of money for it. Mine has the black G10 grips with rivets, silver bolsters, and the S30V serrated blade. While its not shaving hairs sharp it defiently gets the job done and has held its edge very well over the past few months ive had. im honestly impressed with all buck knives, especially after my foreign made Kershaw. My 110 might not have the flipper on it but it feels better built, better blade steel, and just worlds of different. I am now a buck knives customer for like and probably will never but anything else.

Really pleased ...

I was playing around on the Buck Custom Knife web site and built a knife with my personal preferences: a drop-point blade, elk antler inserts with the traditional brass bolsters and rivets. I chose the brown leather belt sheath to go along with it. It was so nice looking, I just had to have it. So, I placed the order and started counting the days. The wait killed me. Five weeks later, it showed up. The knife was everything that I had anticipated ... and ... even prettier than expected. It is my every day carry and it will be used accordingly. Each time I look at it, I think of GOD being the senior partner and the Buck Family tradition, both of which are important to me. I want to thank those at Buck Knives, and "EJ" in particular, for their efforts extended on my behalf. If you are looking for a "unique" knife, built to your specification, the Buck Custom Knife Shop is the place to obtain one. Don't be concerned about ordering one. You will get more than your money's worth. On top of it all, is the Buck Forever Warranty. How can you go wrong? May GOD continue to bless you and yours at Buck Knives. Best Regards, Matt BTW - I have plenty of Buck Knives, one of which is over forty years old, given to me by my wife on Christmas, 1977. I use, but never abuse those. Surprisingly, each of the fixed blades are as nice as when I got them. My two grandsons have already indicated which ones they want. They will get those when they are old enough to appreciate what they have received.

First Rate!

I own several Buck Knives, but the 110 Hunter was my first purchase in 2002. In every measurable way my 110 is as perfect today as it was when I first opened the its box. Elk custom

I have a number of Buck knives, 110's, 119 and a number of others. I think that Buck are great, but. I treated myself to a custom that cost an arm and a leg with export and import duties. All is right in this world

That's how I feel when I hear my son say "can I be like you daddy and have my pocket knife with me whenever I need it?" It's ingrained in us to be self reliant, always ready to take on the next challenge. Your pocket knife should be the first thing you reach for when you get ready to walk out that door. I purchased what I hope is an heirloom for my son. Custom 110, nickle plated, finger grooves, riveted, S30v fine and serrated blade with an Elk handle. Engraved are my initials and most importantly PROV 27:17. My reminder to keep growing strong in my walk and pass along my knowledge to others. The family at Buck have done an amazing job on this knife. Simply beautiful. Thank you! God Bless!

Learned what I want in a knife

I was thrilled to receive a custom 110 from a Buck distributor, only to find out that it was not at all what I wanted. This 110 was a vendor exclusive, with nickel-silver bolsters and a flat-ground blade made from D2 tool steel. I was happy - until I tried to use it. The flat grind made for a thicker blade that, for me, didn’t cut well at all. When it was time to sharpen it, I couldn’t get the edge anywhere near sharp without it chipping-out. A folding hunter with that steel and that grind was a combination that just didn’t work for me. So, I sent it back to Buck for a blade replacement. Ten dollars and six months later, I got my knife back with the standard, hollow-ground 420HC blade. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! The work was impeccable, perfectly straight, tight and centered, and sharp. I dressed-up the finish on the blade with a buffing wheel, and further honed the edge until it was sharp as a razor. Now I have a fantastic cutting tool that looks like a work of art. Was it a “downgrade” to switch from D2 to 420HC? Eh, maybe for some, but not for me. Buck’s 420HC is a great blade steel, one that performs very, very well, and behaves predictably when it’s time to sharpen it. In the end, I’m glad to have gone through all this to find my perfect 110. Buck helped me learn what I really want in a knife.

My buddy my knife

I received my first buck knife at the age of 32, over 28 years ago, a model 110. It was given to me by my longtime best friend Don who I met at the age of five. I'll never forget his words when he handed it to me "give a knife, have a friend for life"! Well, this knife suddenly became my favorite all time knife, which for sentimental reasons also was now my NEW every day carry. But after using it day after day for years it proved to be more than just an object of sentiment! It was as tough as nails, and always held a sharp edge! Let me tell you this knife has been tortured and tested to the limits, but had always performed flawlessly without failure. Then the most unthinkable and unfortunate thing happened while I was fishing with my two sons remotely in Alaska, I lost it! I had no idea how or where I could have dropped it! We looked and looked every where for days with no luck. So I reluctantly forced myself to accept the fact that is was gone forever. But, the day before we were scheduled to be picked up and flown back to Ketchikan I was wading and fishing near the shoreline and suddenly the sun made a RARE appearance. Shortly after looking up and appreciating the warm bright glow of the sun, I looked down and noticed a bright shiny brass object lying about three feet deep, down next to my feet. At first glance I thought it was a brass colored # 5 Mepps lure! So I said to myself good thing I didn't step on it. On further inspection I revealed my knife that I had lost days before. Our trip now turned out to be perfect!

Time for another one!

I go through a Buck model 110 about every five years since I bought my first one in 1967, either because I snap the blade or it grows legs and walks away with someone who likes it more than I do. The 110 is the best single blade pocket knife of all time but I use the hell out of 'em. I don't send them back when I snap the blades, either, like some other reviewers say they do because I consider that abuse - both of the knife and the warranty. I have an Akanua and a Kalinga from the old custom shop, circa 1985, and since I snapped the tip off my latest 110 using it as a pry bar, I am ordering a custom 110 and opting for a mirror-polished blade, nickel bolsters, and black G-10 handle scales. I wish that more options were available for handle materials. I'd like to see a smooth white handle offered in a modern composite like G-10, Micarta or Corelon, because I'd really prefer that. If such an option was available, I would get the knife engraved too.

Absolutely stunning

I just got my custom 110 today. I ordered it on Sept. 14th, and got it after exactly 42 days or 6 weeks. I'm guessing the long wait was because of the upcoming holiday season. I ordered this as a treat to myself after working all summer. I can tell you it's one nice knife. As for the knife itself I ordered Indigo blue wood handle with finger grooves, nickel bolsters, S30V Serrated Blade, and I had my initials engraved on the front bolster. When I compare it to the picture, the blue stain is more of a dark navy color. If it looked as good as it did in the picture it would be even better, but it's not any less beautiful. The engraving looks better than it does in the picture in my opinion. It's like a double engraving that makes it look nice. The blade is one of the sharpest I have ever handled. I'm not a knife expert or mega collector, but man it's sharp. It's a little bigger than I used to, but I know it will be easy to get used to it. My only two complaints are how dark the wood is, but that isn't major, and how easy everything gets fingerprinted. I wipe it off on my clothes, but if you do that be careful. I think I have described it well. It was totally worth it! Thanks Buck!

It is a right knife; positive action with a solid lockup, sharp as Hades, and in nickel silver with elk stag scales and mirrored spine, a very beautiful knife...easily holds up next to any one of my much pricier pieces. Awesome knife, but overpriced

Really great knife. I love mine. I got married in August 2016 and every groomsman and myself got 110 Bucks. I do think it's a bit overpriced for customizing over an off the shelf model, really more for collectors unless you MUST have the harder steel material. I got myself and best man custom 100 drop points with engraving and got the other groomsmen 110s off the shelf and had them engraved at the mall to match. Very cool, but not enough better than standard ones to warrant the price.

Best Ever

I have a custom and love it (review is here someplace), but recently picked up a very well used 110 and 112 off the bay for cheap. Both were easily 30+ years old and looked every minute of it, but they had that wonderful vintage appeal. That said, they were getting a bit to rough around the edges for my taste. The blades had been ground down to 3/4 of original size and the bolsters had deep gouges. I was hoping for new blades and a fluff and buff. What I got looks like two new knives. Even the wood looks new.

Indestructible

My dad bought me a Buck 110 with my name engraved and an FGBMFI badge inlaid in the handle when he visited the US as part of an FGBMFI (a Christian businessmens organisation) delegation from Australia in the mid 80's. I'm not a hunter so Initially I treated it like an ornament or heirloom but it seemed a waste having such a rugged high quality implement clearly designed to do stuff sitting in a drawer so I began carrying it with me and though I'm not careless or stupid I've used it for jobs you're probably not supposed to use a high quality pocket knife for but it's never really mattered how I use it, I can't kill it... When my dad died over 3 years ago I realised that, materially, my Buck knife had become probably one of the most precious material things he'd given me because it's not only a constant reminder of him, but of aspects of his character I'd like to aspire to - honest, reliable and versatile.

Custom #110!

Ordered Custom#110, Nickle Bolster, Ironwood, Tan Sheath, with S30V Blade, and just received it today. This is an amazing knife!!! #110 is the real legend of Folding Knife in America, and is never changed even how the world changes. This excellent classic craftsmanship custom #110 is now my jewelry, and will be stayed with me in the rest of my life, or even passed down to my family after my death. I really appreciate Kevin, who really helps me to order this excellent Custom Knife even though the difficult situation that I am at the oversea, Japan. Thank you so , Kevin!! I also thank you to E. Jape, whom I found on the card. Jape, you did the super excellent job to make this jewelry Custom#110 for me. I am so proud that I am one (1) of the member of Buck Family. Again, thank you very much all!!

One of a kind!

Just received my one of a kind custome made 110 Buck Knife and I absolutely love it! I didn't think anything could replace my previous standard 110 because it had sentimental value. Well, this far surpasses that one and now I get to make new memories with a knife made just for me. Thanks Buck! You are truly a last breed for original and genuine products made right here in America!

Beautiful Knife

My husband loves it. Most beautiful knife we've ever owned. Two suggestions... would love it better with a brushed silver bolster, and the engraving is too low. Needs to be up to the right, as you look at the blade. This knife will definitely be used and we would like the engraving to still be there when we pass it down to our grandchildren. Still 5 stars because it's so awesome.

Great Knife

I have an old 110 that was given to me by my father. Use it almost everyday, and I dont use it lightly, I use it to split wood, chop small trees, and a hammer sometimes. I buy a knife for work and this lived up to its name. I since have purchased numerous buck knifes.

Custom 110 Exceeds Expectations

I ordered my custom 110 in nickel, with rivets and finger grooves. Also order ram handles and the S30V serrated blade, with a black leather sheath. The knife is absolutely beautiful. It is large heavy knife. Intended use is for camping and fishing, as well as daily carry for week-end chores at home. The lock back release is quite stiff and it takes a fair amount of thumb pressure to release the blade to fold it. I will hopefully get used to this or maybe it will become less stiff with time and usage. It was shipped almost 6 weeks from the date I ordered it, and took 5 business days to arrive via UPS Ground.

High Quality Experience!

In the past few months I have been looking for a knife that I can use for hunting and also for general purpose. And I'm the type of guy who really researches things before I buy them. I probably spent 2 months combing the internet, reading reviews, and visiting the local Bass Pros Shop numerous times and discussing knives with their "knife guys." I had my eye on a Benchmade knife, and also a hunting set from Knives of Alaska. I kept coming back however, to the reality that although these knives were nice - they weren't Bucks. I love classic, high quality, American made stuff. Whatever it is -cars, guns, guitars, and yes, knives. Once I visited the Buck custom page I knew my search was over. I ordered the 110 with brass bolsters and rivets, elk handle, s30v blade and the brown leather sheath. I also had my initials engraved in the blade. Why not? This is going to be the knife that goes the distance with me. Waiting for it to arrive was fun, and I was blown away with its beauty and craftsmanship. Definitely a high quality experience. Love it! Love it! Love it! Thanks Buck!

Would rate a 5 but it wouldn't let me. I ordered 2, one for myself and one for my wife. The craftsmanship is great. The elk handles are beautiful. The finger grooved handles are super comfortable. The engravings were executed perfectly. The time in which I recieved the two knives, was awesome. Recieved them quicker than I anticipated. I will definitely make future orders. Beautiful Classic knife

I ordered a custom 110 with the elk handle for my young son. The knife arrived and I was not disappointed. The quality was excellent, right down to the custom engraving. The knife was very sturdy and looked great (almost a shame to use it). My son was super excited when I gave it to him. It reminded me of my first 110 folder when I was a kid. I have always been a fan of Buck products and this custom reminded me why. I am not going to lie, I was tempted to keep it for myself. Good work keeping up the tradition and quality of Buck.

I wish I could've liked it more!

I really, really, really wanted this knife to be as good as I wanted it to be - and it almost is... BUT my only complaint, really, is cosmetic. Fit is great. Finish... notsomuch. The first one I bought I ordered w/ a S30V blade, Walnut scales, brass bolsters, no rivets - and the quality of the walnut scales and the finish of them was, how to put it, noticeably shabby. Hard to explain - but the grain didn't seem to run the whole length of the 3" scale and there were "ashy" spots in the finish color. Not acceptable, in my mind, for a "custom shop" knife. Okay. Can't return it. Gave it to the father-in-law for Christmas. He loved it. Bam. Not a total waste - Let's try again. Ordered another immediately - everything the same except this time with Cherrywood scales and added rivets - figuring maybe the folks at Buck were working with an iffy batch of Walnut. AGAIN - patchy, splotchy finish work on the wood - some areas of the scales seemed to be over-saturated with stain, others lacking- On 3" scales!!!! AND the stain itself was much lighter and brighter red in person than the beautiful deep red you see on the website. Again- unacceptable to me. Now, before you jump all over me, I know all wood is unique, and certain pieces may have "character" - but if you're making a semi-custom knife, take some pride and choose the choice pieces - establish a standard and take the hit on the wood that doesn't make the grade, THEN finish those pieces that DO make the grade consistently for the best possible product. Not rocket science. Just pride and craftsmanship - which seem to be lacking in the custom shop. I collect knives. Cheap. Expensive. In-between. I love 'em. I think I have pretty good taste in them. Whenever I do decide to shell out more than, say, $50 for a knife - I expect at least an attempt at top-notch quality. I didn't get it here. Twice. I wanted a 110 because I was hunting with my wife's grandpa and saw his 50 yr old 110 that he's used to dress countless deer- it's a genuine, battle-scarred piece of American folk art. I wanted one instantly, desperately, so I thought I'd splurge on an heirloom quality example... but maybe I should just wait till they take the stupid anniversary medallion off the scales of the production model and buy one from Walmart -or hope that my wife's grandpa passes his down to me. Guess I gotta decide who else I like enough to give a $110 knife away to... I don't think I'm gonna get burned a 3rd time.

A great spin on a great classic!

The 110 is a great knife already and being able to customize it is just a dream come true. I have one already that the Mrs got as a gift. It came with flawless Koa wood that looks like it is on fire in the sunlight. The bolsters were mirror polished and the edge was very obviously hand sharpened to shaving sharp status. This is how you do a custom knife!

Buck 110 for everyday use.

I ordered my Buck 110 in Nickel with 30v Serrated Blade, Finger Groove Ram Scales with Rivets. Buck's quality, fit and finish exceeded my expectation in all respects. The blade is razor sharp with a pleasant sounding snap to the lockup when opened. I'm delighted I ordered the Ram Scales as they give the 110 a sophisticated, classic old world look. This is without a doubt the best looking knife I have purchased. I've used my 110 as a practical everyday carry knife for the past year. The knife remains sharp and as tight as the day received. This knife is a work of art

I received a Buck 110 for my 8th birthday in 1964. I've had 3 since then - all "base models". I ordered a 50th anniversary in November and I was very disappointed with the quality of the piece. I'm sure Mr. Buck will make it right. As this was intended to be my last buck so I decided on a custom. 320 blade is the mostimportant upgrade. Nickel bolsters, magnificent polished Stag grip with finger cutouts, no rivets and , yes, a monogram. (movie star knife). It is the nicest blade I've ever had in my hand - period.

A firefighters knife

I bought my Buck knife from a soon to retire fellow firefighter. I was just starting my career back in 1972 and the buck folding knife was a working Knife, not a sit on the shelf and looking pretty knife. It was the preferred carry all over the job. I, myself, have long since retired but my Buck is still hangs from my belt, still in service after all these forty or so years. I'm not sure how long the original owner carried that buck but I will hand it off to my grandson one day and you can bet it will be servicable long after he is done with it. Quality and Craftmanship indure thats for sure.

Classic Knife for a Navy Man.

I'm in the Navy, and have gone through countless knives in my five years at sea. I was looking for a good quality knife, that could take a beating. My search brought me here, I ordered the 110 folding hunter knife with waterbuffalo handle and S30V blade. To say I was anxious about what would come in the mail is an undertatement. When my knife arrived I was thrilled. The finger grooves fit my hand like a glove and the workmanship of the knife is exquisite. The overall sturdiness 3 weeks after receiving it in the mail is exceptional! I was nervous before, but now I realize that I have a knife that can withstand the riggors of the sea, and the work I will put it through. Ordered this knife with the elk handle, mirror finish, custom engraving, and notches for my fingers, and must say this is hands down one of the best things I've purchased in a long time. Yes, I am comparing this to nearly all of my other purchases made in at least the past year, and this could possibly be the best. Waited maybe 3-4 weeks to receive mine, but the quality is absolutely outstanding. Crafted perfectly, and you can tell it will last YEARS. Best Gift Ever!

I ordered the Customizable 110 Folding Hunter Knife as a gift for my boyfriend that never leaves the house without his pocket knife, best decision i ever made! This will be a knife that he has forever and can be handed down throughout the family. I received the knife 6 weeks from order date and it was better than I ever imagined it would be. It is a heavy and sturdy knife. I am second guessing not ordering a second one for myself. I ordered with 420HC Satin blade (530's have to be sent back to be sharpened), American Oak (a little darker/ashier than shown but still very nice), Nickle Bolster, Rivets (make the knife stand out so glad I did), Finger Grooves ( i was nervous doing this because his hands are large but they are the perfect size for "man hands"), Tan Leather Sheath (perfect fit for this knife), and did Bolster Engraving (nice addition for a personal touch - blade engraving seemed a little low and was afraid sharpening would buff it out.).

Yet another stunner!

Just received my second 110 custom. Now I have 5 110s. This one was the black G10 grips, pins, nickel-steel bolsters, and S30V blade. Fit and finish is exceptional, save for one very, very minor thing. One of the edges on the G10 is not quite as 'sharp' as the other edges. You can't really see it as much as you can feel it. It doesn't matter really, for a semi-custom production pattern, obviously made by hand in the wonderful USA. What does matter, is that I can literally shave hair off my arm with it. My 2 custom 110s always get positive comments from others when they come out of my pocket.
