Holding many of same features as the regular tanto blade, the angled point is modified between the front edge and the bottom edge on this particular blade. Holds up to piercing, scraping, and prying with tough materials.
This steel is ideal for excellent edge retention, great corrosion resistance and for heavy cutting applications. For best performance, we harden to a standard Rc 59-61.
This is one indestructible gear. I like how it looks, cuts, chops and its sheath looks amaizing. Can't wait till next camping to try it on 100%! Five stars to You Buck!
I live on a small farm and this knife does it all. I can pry, beat and cut with this guy. It does it all. I enjoy sharpening knives to a shave quality and this dude does not Disappoint. I was raised on a dairy farm and have always had a buck. To this day I carry a buck folding knife in my pocket that's 25 years or older I know if I have a problem with it I can always send it back to those guys that make it right. I have owned several bucks in my 50 years of living and have passed down many of them to family and friends. You will not be unsatisfied with this guy. Just buy it. OK.....just get this blade.....you will not regret it.
I've been a collector of Tactical and Survival knives for many years and this on is one of my favorites. This is both. I think all military and police personnel desvere this knife. It's an amazing camping tool and near indestructible. Excellent job on this one gentlemen and or ladies.
This is a master of all trades. Bushcraft, tactical, utility... this is one unique design that will handle it. The grip shape and material is perfect even when your hands are wet, and this takes an edge like you wouldn't believe. Own many knives, and I find myself taking this one to the outdoors over the rest of my collection time and again. Bravo Zulu, Buck!
I bought this knife knowing that Tops overbuilds their knives and Buck makes quality knives as well. I needed a stout camp knife that can chop, pry, abuse and of course; cut. Not much not to like, it holds an edge well and is easy to sharpen due to its straight lines. I have other fixed blades, from Tops to Benchmade, but I use this one the most as it's just the right size. The handle is great, and the balance is just the icing on the cake. When I go camping, this knife goes with me, that and my Ka-Bar Parangatang machete, what's nice is many of the tasks I used to task for machete only, can be done with this Buck CSAR-T. I don't think you could break this knife even if you tried. It's a little tank. Glad I bought one.
