Still top of the list!

I purchased and tested Buck 106 Compadre Axe, this is excellent product, finish, balance and quality, made in USA! I have old Buck 106 Axe and when I compare this two axes, I can tell that Buck knives did it again, there is real need for hunter axe or hatchet of excellent quality. Thanks to Buck knives we have great product again, which I will use for many hunting seasons !

Hammer pol tactical tomahawk in disguise.

I've seen many video reviews of tactical, full tang tomahawks that the reviewers use in the woods for camping tasks and they all have a similar complaint: wish it didn't have a spike pol. Well here's a full tang, tactical tomahawk sized axe without a spike. It's super tough, can out chop any big knife, kindling it can't split can be batoned (which a traditional hatchet shouldn't be) easily due to where the grip scales end and has no cut outs on the neck to weaken it. Only small complaint is the edge angle was too shallow for my taste, I put a 20 degree edge on it (and it's awesome) otherwise it's perfect. Best axe like this available at anywhere near the price or maybe at any price.
