BUCK KNIVES PARTNERS WITH MENTOR QUEST

Oct 15, 2012

Buck Knives is pleased to announce a partnership with Mentor Quest. Mentor Quest follows Ed Eason, guitar player for music stars such as Carrie Underwood, on his venture as he travels across the country in pursuit of expert mentors. The mentor discussions, how-to videos, and highlights of his journeys are shared on Mentor Quest’s website to encourage men and fathers to learn timeless new skills. Buck Knives is proud to provide Eason with the tools and products involved in making his journey successful.

In addition to being a touring guitarist for multi-platinum artists, Eason is also a father to three young sons and was raised by a single mother. He understands too well the importance and impact of passing on timeless life lessons and skills to our children. Unfortunately, this type of tradition is slowly fading away but with the help of mentors in the form of legends, celebrities, manufacturers, and authors, Eason seeks to ensure that these traditions stand the test of time.

“As a man who has had success in my field of expertise, it would be an understatement to say it has been quite the challenge humbling myself to be mentored. But I can truly say I have never had a more rewarding learning experience than through mentorship.” Eason said.

Buck Knives agrees with Eason that it is important for children to learn timeless skills rather than being consumed by Internet and video games and the evolving technology that surrounds us. Traditions are important to Buck, a family-owned business since 1902.

“Buck Knives was built on old-fashioned values with a commitment to quality, reliability and integrity,” said Chuck Buck, Chairman of Buck Knives. “ It is extremely important for children to learn skills and qualities that will help them create a lasting legacy for future generations.”

Buck Knives is excited to do its part to guide future generations, one buck at a time. Chuck Buck recently met with Eason to provide a mentoring discussion in which he describes the significance behind the message inside every Buck Knife. The discussion can be viewed at www.mentorquest.tv.com
