BUCK KNIVES AND TOPS KNIVES TO DEVELOP MORE HARD-CORE TACTICAL KNIVESOct 5, 2010
The TOPS/BUCK CSAR-T folding tactical knife, recently named Best of the Best in Field & Stream Magazine’s annual gear review proved to be a great idea born between two long time knife manufacturers.
Most who have used the CSAR-T (Combat Search and Rescue Tool) have been seriously impressed. The knife has received quite a bit of positive publicity out in the field and within the knife industry. Based on the success of the CSAR-T, Buck and TOPS intend to develop more award winning knives for what will become the TOPS / BUCK line of knives. In a recent visit to the Buck factory, Mike Fuller, Owner and Operator of TOPS met with Buck engineers and executives to develop ideas on future products and to finalize some points on the upcoming 2011 TOPS / BUCK release.
“The choice to work with Buck to bring more tools to the field for our military operatives has been successful beyond belief. Winning the Best of the Best award from Field & Steam is quite the honor and I look forward the success of our future knives,” said Fuller.
Uniting two Idaho knife manufacturers brought over 100 years of manufacturing experience along with over 100 years of combined “real field time” experience into the creation of the CSAR-T. When developing a tactical knife, the strength of the steel and use of materials can mean life or death. No one understands this better than Mike Fuller and his associates who have many years of military experience behind them. Fuller’s knowledge and expertise combined with Buck’s superb quality standards and ability to mass produce custom knives, guarantees any TOPS / BUCK future release will supply field operatives with a no-nonsense, heavy-duty and reliable tool.
“We are excited to continue our relationship with TOPS Knives. The ultimate goal, regardless of the huge success of the first ever TOPS / BUCK knife, is to provide those who serve and protect with tools they can count on. We want our operatives to be safe and protected,” said CJ Buck, president of Buck Knives.
At SHOT Show 2011, Buck intends to unveil the latest TOPS / BUCK tactical knife. Get ready to be impressed by this monster knife!
