POST FALLS, IDAHO-- Field & Stream Magazine awarded Best of the Best honors to the TOPS/Buck CSAR-T knife in their annual review of “Gear of the Year” for hunters and other active outdoorsmen. The announcement was made in their September issue.

Among the positive evaluations made by the testers, in naming this rugged knife the top Utility/Survival Knife, as reported by David E. Petzal, Rifles Editor, Field & Stream, was “Put in nontechnical terms, it is a large, strong, heavy sumbitch that comes razor sharp and stays that way.”

The review also noted, “The handle is made of G10, a fiberglass-epoxy compound that might be damaged by an atom bomb but not much else.” It also commented on the effective collaboration of TOPS and Buck Knives, saying the result is “as high-speed, low- drag as you can get.”

Field & Stream, the leading magazine serving the outdoor market, has an audited circulation of 1,260,769, and reaches a total of more than 3,000,000 readers every month.
